Highway Wolf emerges as a spectacular thematic musical project led by the talented musician and composer Mick Hellmam (Wreckless Strangers, The Go to Hell Man Band, Marco & the Polos), who is accompanied by his skillful bandmates Tal and Amber Morris.

About The Release

As mentioned at the beginning of this article, "In The City" is part of "Purdie's Dream," the debut EP by the band Highway Wolf. It features 5 spectacular tracks that blend Classic Rock with elements of Folk, Jazz, and Blues. It was officially released on October 28, coincidentally during the Hunter's Moon, but... this is no coincidence. Do you know where the album's name comes from? Ahh... As you've already noticed, this band has taken care even in the minutest details to create a piece of art of the highest quality that sparks subtle curiosity, inviting listeners to always find surprises as they delve deeper into the information.

It turns out that the title "Purdie's Dream" was primarily inspired by Mick's faithful canine companion, "Purdie," named in honor of the legendary drummer "Bernard Purdie," known for popularizing the famous beat "Purdie's Shuffle" during the 1970s.
