Xybird is a talented duo that started working together during lockdown. They started by posting short covers on Instagram with the goal of releasing their own music into the world. "M'akoma mu toffee" stands as their 4th studio single. It has a bright and airy sound that carries the sentiment of love, joy and contentment in it's lyrics. "M'akoma mu toffee" is a Twi (a Ghanaian language) phrase that means sweetheart, but a more direct translation is the sweetness/toffee inside my heart. The layered percussive sounds in the track give it a lively pulse that is topped off by the gentle romantic sway of the guitar melodies.

Fried Rice

Jeán et Joie, a talented folk music band based in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, has captivated audiences with the recent release of their new single titled "Fried Rice." Evelí Ray, a talented Spanish Singer and composer unveils her latest masterpiece titled “Where Are We Running”. This song talks about something we all can relate to – our hectic lives and the sense of emptiness pervading our cities. The artist explains: “We run from one place to the other, phone in our hands, more disconnected from ourselves and each other than ever. It's a wake-up call to slow down and find meaning in little things that makes a huge difference”.

Suburban Bicycle Gang," an electrifying folk-rock band hailing from Cambridge, Canada, is here to delight us with their latest promotional single, "Lake Scugog," from their recently released album, "In The Cosmos," which originally premiered on May 26, 2023.

Comprised of three talented and experienced musicians, this band offers a rich musical experimentation by blending their creativity into an iconic sonic landscape drawing inspiration from a diverse range of genres, including Alternative Rock and Power Pop, while maintaining a distinctive essence reminiscent of Folk Music.

By incorporating numerous acoustic instruments into their mix, such as the Mandolin, Guitar, Bass, and acoustic percussion, and combining them with a psychedelic aesthetic, "Lake Scugog" will take listeners on a captivating musical journey that provides a completely immersive experience from beginning to end.

This song was originally composed by Jerry Grey (aka Gang Leader), and it immediately caught the attention of his bandmates, prompting them to include it as part of this album. It stands as the second track of this lengthy masterpiece. Through the use of reverberation and delay effects, they have managed to craft a unique sound that is noticeable from the first few seconds, defining their musical identity and setting them apart from what we are accustomed to hearing. See For Miles (Bounder’s Motif)

Emerging band Two Headed Horse, hailing from London, is making a powerful entrance onto the music scene with their debut single, 'See For Miles.' The band, comprised by four talented musicians, took full creative control on the recording process, handling engineering, production, and mixing, resulting in a track that's already generating buzz for its intriguing musical ideas and captivating vibe.

Excitingly, this is just the beginning. Two Headed Horse has more in store for their growing fan base, with another single set to drop in late October, followed by an eagerly anticipated EP towards the end of the year. This upcoming EP was recorded in Oxford, with the accomplished Mark Gardener of Ride, promising a blend of unique musical elements.

After putting in the work behind the scenes for some time, Two Headed Horse is now ready to step into the spotlight and share their music with the world. “Somebody Who’s Not Me” is the new single by Swiss-born and raised singer-songwriter Chloé Sautereau. Released on September 14, 2023 it stands as the artist's third promotional single. The song was recorded at Corner Store Studios with CJ Colon and produced by Chloé herself.

Kinga Kreffta, a talented Polish singer and songwriter residing in Leeds, United Kingdom, has recently unveiled her latest masterpiece, titled "Lilies," marking her seventh release in her discography. Drawing inspiration from a book that profoundly captured Kinga's attention, "Lilies" was born.

Kinga explains: "I wrote the song inspired by a book I read when I was a teenager. In the story, the husband comes back home after a long time spent at war. Unfortunately, his wife was unfaithful to him, and when caught cheating she decided to kill him. Then she plants Lilies at his grave. I thought this story was ridiculous and interesting at the same time that's why I decided to write a song about "crime in passion" as she didn't think it through and wasn't aware of what she had done."
