Working on the remaster of Labyrinthian was both a technical and emotional journey for me. The track’s dense, almost suffocating atmosphere — filled with dark textures, crushing low-end, and relentless rhythmic tension — demanded a deep level of respect and precision. Through Bad Wolf Records, I set out to preserve its raw intensity while enhancing its depth and sonic clarity. The process was complex but incredibly rewarding: carving space between layers, amplifying its overall impact, all without compromising the original vision crafted by Buster Odeholm and Calle Thomer. The result is a renewed version that breathes with more clarity, yet still hits with the same visceral force that makes Humanity’s Last Breath so distinctive.
