Album LP

Release Date:

1 feb 2023

Pablo Lavins, an artist from the city of Frutillar, Chile, presents his latest studio work titled "Anxiety Relief," in which he shows us a work focused on his internal world and the journey that represents the constant oscillation between different human emotions.

The album features a much more complete instrumentation compared to his previous release, thanks to the inclusion of musical instruments such as drums, electric guitar, bass, and piano, in addition to classical string instruments like cello and violin present in his album "Old New Year's Drinks."

"Anxiety Relief" includes 15 tracks, each with a very different essence, but all in perfect symbiosis with the album as a unique concept. Each song explores different themes but with a nostalgic and melancholic touch, referencing sensations and moments from the past that fluctuate between complete happiness and total desolation.

The recording process for this album began in 2020 and concluded in late 2022. However, the artist showcased some previews to the public in a five-song EP titled "Green Water Songs." This promotional release included demo versions of "Take me to your train," "Spý, Look there!," "Birdman," among others. The majority of the songs were presented in acoustic and unplugged versions, which also demonstrates the artist's growth in terms of composition skills, as well as the progress in the album's production until its final release date.
