ABOUT ME
Music has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. I come from a family of musicians, and it was my great-uncle, José Serras, a renowned pianist, who became my great mentor. From a very young age, listening to him play the piano in the afternoons was an experience that gave me goosebumps. It felt as if each note told a story, and thanks to him, I took my first steps in music. He was the one who taught me to read sheet music, to understand the magic behind each chord, and in this way, I began my musical journey—first with the piano, then the guitar, and over time, I ventured into other instruments and genres.
My curiosity for art in general led me to study at a special school for artists in Chile, where I specialized in art history, drawing, painting, and sculpture. This experience gave me the opportunity to explore other facets of art alongside my development as a self-taught musician, providing me with a broader and deeper perspective on the connection between all artistic forms. I learned that art has no limits and that music is just one of the many ways we can express what we carry within us.
While in university, I studied Business Administration during the day and, at night, I specialized in music production, mixing, and mastering at URM Academy. It was a real challenge, but it opened the doors for me to meet artists and producers from all over the world, allowing me to expand my vision and networks in the industry.
In 2020, with a solid foundation of knowledge and experience, I founded my record label, Bad Wolf Records, through which I’ve had the opportunity to work with artists from different parts of the world and establish myself in the industry as a producer and music executive.
During my teenage years, music was both my refuge and my field of exploration. I immersed myself in numerous projects, always searching for new ways to express my creativity. This stage allowed me to experiment with different genres, giving me a broader appreciation for musical diversity and a passion for innovation. Each style, each sound, led me to a deeper understanding of how music has the power to connect people and convey universal emotions.
In 2016, I finally ventured into my first studio recordings, and surprisingly, many local bands started reaching out to me to produce their songs. I never imagined I would end up dedicating myself to this, but fate had other plans. Little by little, I began building a career in music production. It was a challenging process, but fortunately, I was able to solidify this project over time.
My band, WolfSkin, was another fundamental chapter in my musical journey. Together, we not only performed on various stages but also released our first physical album—a dream come true. That project was not only a milestone in my career as a producer but also solidified my emotional connection with music as a language capable of transcending barriers and reaching the deepest parts of the human soul. Every chord, every lyric, every concert was an opportunity to continue exploring the limits of my artistic expression and, more importantly, to share it with the world.
Music is my language, my refuge, and my purest form of expression. Over the years, I’ve learned that it’s not just about creating sounds but about connecting with others through emotions, stories, and shared moments. Every step I’ve taken, every challenge I’ve overcome, and every achievement I’ve reached has been driven by my love and passion for this art. My musical journey remains a path of constant learning, and I am grateful for every opportunity to keep creating, exploring, and sharing music with the world. This is my mission: to leave a mark through sound and help others find their voice in the process.
